Emerald is part of the color inspire series. It's a tiara that takes its inspiration from Medieval art, where emerald green represents jealousy and poison. I made the tiara in the silhouette of the Emerald City from the Wizard of Oz, which is full of brightness and glory on the outside even though Oz actually turns out to be a small and weak. This inspired me to work more with the symbolic architectures of Emerald City: the idea of inner weakness and surface power and vice versa.
