I was the Studio and Gallery Intern for Dieu Donné Papermill during the Summer of 2011, I worked individually on internationally renowned installation artist Do Ho Suh's project – designed clothing patterns, created muslin samples, applied paper casting methods and tested pigments.
I assisted in the research, coordination, and execution of both gallery and administration areas. I gained experience in handling and preparation of artwork, development of exhibition materials, and interface with the public. I also aided in the creation of artist projects, the production of handmade paper, and the maintenance, organization, and preparation of the machinery and supplies in the studio.
