For over 7 years, Shari Finger Design LLC designed and produced corporate communication collateral such as annual reports, brochures, media kits, fact books and web sites for The New York Times Company.
Highlights
In 1996, we had the pleasure of using a customized Al Hirschfeld drawing to grace the cover of the annual report in celebration of Adolph S. Ochs and the paper going four color. Additionally, throughout the report, we showed each section in color, seen for the first time, along with a fantastic panoramic photograph of the new college point printing plant at sunset.
Each year, each annual report had a different strategic message such as "Strategies in Action", "Sustainable Growth through People, Products, Performance and Preparation", "Entering the Knowledge Age", "Enhancing society by creating, collecting and distributing high-quality news, information and entertainment" to "Reaching Our Audiences Locally, Nationally and Beyond". In each design, you will see a visual solution that enhances the messaging for each piece, creating a unique and custom design.
It was a great pleasure to work with my design partner Javier Romero, the entire corporate communications department and senior management of The New York Times Company.
