  • Ornithological Illustrations
    Illustrations of birds in their natural environments, native to Rhode Island
  • This is a series of ornithological illustrations that I have done from 2004 to present, using the skillfully taxidermied specimens from the RISD Nature Lab.  My challenge is always to bring them to life and showcase their natural beauty, and to give the viewer an up-close look at animals usually seen from afar.
