Description
A spotlight, a rotating bundle of sticks, and a cut-out silhouette of a horse taped to a small mirror combine to create 'Stampede.' The glowing image of galloping horses is a continuous projection of one fractured reflection. Because the image of the stampede lands on a long piece of tracing paper, it can be viewed from front and back, with horses running left or right. This installation was created in the Maxon Mills at the Wassaic Project in Wassaic, NY.
  • Stampede
