Portraits of saints, royalty and the rich were done to show a persons worth, influence and contribution in a society, but today those people are celebrities and pop icons. Michael Jackson will forever be known as the "King of Pop" and i'm here by stating Lady GaGa as queen, because in todays society it is the "voices" that carry the voice of change. You don't have to like their music to know they have been significant influencers in the way we view music, fashion and most importantly each other, and for those reasons they are forever immortalized.
