Description
Instructed to create a garment from recycled or refused materials, I created a party dress out of plastic bags manipulated in a variety of ways. The bodice utilizes several layers of plastic that have been heat-set, folded, topstitched, and pieced together. Both the bust and the skirt are comprised of small rosettes of raw plastic placed on top of a heat set plastic base. The back laces together corset style with pink ribbon.
