Icosahedron Tensegrity Sculpture

Isosahedron Tensegrity form Development  for RISD's Design Science Course
 
I focused on Layering Tensegrity structures, by taking the 20 triangular faced Isosahedron Tensegrity and ,through cut shapes, branched into a new tengegrity forms. Exploration into how the central points and vertices of the Isosahedron Tensegrity could become a new engineered structure lead me to intricate networks of cardboard and thread.
