This chair was created using an intricate grid made of curved flat stock,
welded, and covered with yarn to cushion the seating surface. I wanted to explore the relationship between the two different materials and the tactile experience between the smooth cold steel surface and the plush soft wool yarn. Over time with the use of the seat the yarn will begin to rub together and form on continuous soft surface.
