Art is human code. Mine explores a deep connection with nature. I am a visual transcendentalist, translating my passion through photography, paintings, mixed media, and ceramics.
After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, I moved to New York City to pursue a career of art and commerce. In the business realm, as an inventor and creative, I have directed design for Sony, Movado, MIT, MoMA, Kenmore, Craftsman, and most recently Comcast NBC Universal.
The mystery and beauty of the natural world inspires my drive to create. Patterns, light, movement, form, and color are ephemeral as are the moments of our lives. Capturing the magic of the split second, the shifting wind and shadows is an obsession. My work is at times paradoxical: Eastern and Western influences combine, digital and traditional techniques merged, in the spirit of modernity yet reminiscent of a bygone era.
