Art is human code. Mine explores identity in an era where networks breed conformity. Pattern is persistent in nature, science, and behavior. The repetition we experience provides predictability, rationality, and comfort. Conversely, life is writhe with anomalies. Emotion, randomness, and uniqueness amplify our experiences and fuel progression.
With layers of organic, man-made, and autobiographic imagery, metaphors articulate tension between individualism and collectivism, oneness and ecosystem. Birds, flora, and fauna are preferred symbols. Interplay of multiple exposures, mirroring, and patterns fused with idiosyncratic forms, I remix a kaleidoscope reality. In essence, I am Darwin’s machine, employing natural selection to engineer the digital and grown.
