I based the design of this bracelet on a memory of handfuls of peppermint candies, which is particularly reminiscent for me of nights spent with family in my hometown. The making of the piece also reflects this intention, as the arrangement consists of layered circular brass pieces, all treated with a textural imprint by running peppermint candy wrappers through a rolling mill. This process gives the cuff its tattered finish.
