This project is an exercise in making multiple parts in Solidworks that could connect and fit together. We were told to design a connecting mechanism that would allow two or more parts to fit together to form a connection. My design was a set of clips that would flex and fit together in a way that would require a specific order of removing pieces in order for the assembly to be disassembled. After the parts were designed in Solidworks, we took the project to the 3D printing lab where we had our pieces printed so that we could see our connections function in real life.
