Collection of oil paintings inspired by Chiaroscuro
  • Chiaroscuro
    Painting the light in the dark
  • This collection of paintings is a result of an in depth study of Caravaggio and other Italian Rennaisance painters.  I adopted their palette choices and used subtle modeling and glazing to create them.  I also incorporated elements from Classical paintings juxtapozed with modern motifs into the pieces to create new works.
