- Blogger Illustration Series
- When starting this series, I revisited some old images from a post on Susie Bubble’s blog titled “Strokes and Scribbles” which featured illustrations of Susie’s crazy outfits done by Kingston fashion student, Victoria Riches. Her nonchalant style with lines of varying thickness and shades that seemed so effortless inspired me to be more loose and fast when illustrating. I looked to style bloggers such as Karla, Rumi, Jane, Julia and of course Susie for inspiration due to their abundance of wonderful, easy to access photographs. I considered these illustrations more like exercises to get me used to working fast without blocking everything in pencil before going back with ink. Materials include watercolor, ink, and colored pencil.
