A poster with merchandise created for the 35th Annual Bele Chere Festival in Asheville, North Carolina. The festival features local bands alongside some national talent, and is host to countless craftsmen and vendors.

 

I was chosen by a committee to complete the poster in collaboration with the city of Asheville based on my idea for the poster. The large guitar form on the right side leads to bands of color that represent different aspects of the festival and the people, including some of Asheville's most iconic buildings. The guitar sound hole doubles as the sun for the crowd below. The concept is to show how the connected the festival and the music are to the people of the city.
