Unconventional materials are increasingly used throughout the fashion sector with particular focus on high end couture. This project was about creating a garment using an unconventional and manmade material. Concentrating mainly on paper and the creation of origami a japanese paper folding art, in a group we created a jacket made from tinfoil and paper, made into a repeat and geometric pattern. Influences including Issy Miyake and Viktor and Rolf.
