Salter 260 Wallpaper
In Salter's 260th year we decided to create a wallpaper to use primarily on social media. The wallpaper was to be in a William Morris style, and to be seamless and scaleable to make sure it had the flexibillity to be reused at a later date.

The pattern was compleatly hand drawn and coloured in illustrator using a Wacom tablet. I drew one "square' then overlapped some reference points to make sure it repeated seamlessly. Once this was done I filled in the gaps with a few more details and the pattern was done.

A few of the Salter specific details are:

The scale dial daisy, using the face from an early scale as the centre of the flower.
S leaves, using a stylised 'S' for detailing on leaves.
Salter Knot Vine, making a vine take a knot shape that has been since the early scales.
260 background, subtle 260 year logo in the background to add depth.
Spring, subtle background spring to highlight slaters history.
