“What will I discover?” and “What will I leave behind?”

In my performance, I am walking naked in a circular shape on rice grains. In my hair a stone is attached, it drifts behind me from my head to the floor. When my body, hair braid, and rhythm are combined, my hair turns into a metaphor of clock with the route that my body follows. Hair braid is the extension of my identity and personal history. Its movement and rhythm leave traces on the ground. In doing so I try to expand the measures of time in every step, in every simple body movement. With this shape I leave behind, I present a presence and a history, to the space and the audience in the room. During my 3 hour performance, I look for an answer to the question, how I can hold space even when the conditions of space force the body to change itself. This performance is the search for how instant reactions or permanent changes in my body reflect on my identity. 

Who am I? Who am I now? Is there a difference?
