The house manager commissioned bookplates that represented the aesthetic of the House, and the Eames' design philosophy of hospitality and beautiful functionality.

For me, the Eames' front doorway is one of the best representations of their work and design philosophy. The grid like exterior of their house, opens to reveal a welcoming, whimsical, yet purposeful collection of their lives together. While the hand drawn design and varying Eames related mantle patterns create a back to the basics playfulness the couple might have appreciated.
