Another Surface Pattern with Moorhens!
Wanted to show the different relations between animals, quite like us they all form families, make friendships, hang out with their siblings and look for their soulmate.

Followed the usual process of idea generation and reference photos research.
This was another personal choice when it comes to the selected theme and I went out there (not very far, only to the nearest park...) to explore how moorhens actually are - behaviour, posture, colours, etc.
Created the icons in Illustrator and in the end edited the pattern in Photoshop to play around with the colours and adding filters.
