Physical Cover

In this project, we chose a classic book and created three covers for it. A typography only cover, a physical cover, and an artists choice cover. Pride and Prejudice is a book about overcoming ones pride and preconceived notions, and finding love in unexpected places. I used that theme as I decided on the styles for each of my covers. I wanted them to connect to each other, and so I chose to use the silhouette of Elizabeth Bennet, the main character, as a recurring theme in each of my three designs. I feel like the silhouette can represent the masks people hide behind to protect themselves, which is a central theme in the book.
