Voice Over

I recorded my voice over in adobe audition, I recorded the while thing in one take at first to get the general rhythm and where the natural pauses would be. I then went back and re recorded various portions that I thought could have different intonation or be inflected on differently. This allowed me to pick and choose my best performance from various takes and also gave the flexibility to introduce further pauses. I knew I was going to have the vinyl static effect underneath the voice over anyway so I didn't need to worry about any long pauses or background hum in the silent points as this would be covered by the SFX. 

I did minimal production on the voice over track, just the standard for any kind of recorded voice track to filter out harsh "s" sounds and limit background noise and hum.
