Organica is a process by means of which a 3D scanner is used to copy specific parts of a person's body with which to develop custom Jewelry that can then be printed on an SDL printer. This design is inspired by the generative and parametric design and especially the Grasshopper for Rhino Venation plugin.





Process design
With different ways of achieving this type of geometry were explored by means of laser-cut prototypes in cellulose acetate and polymeric clays, it is not a controlled design, on the contrary it grows organically like nature almost taking its own course except for the limits set by the designer so the only control is the perimeter in which they can grow with the objective that they do not affect mobility or their ergonomic qualities
