¨Un Banquito Más“ (UBM) is a project where the designer Jorge Diego Etienne challenges his students by designing a stool 80% wood using the concept of Supernormal and simplicity.
The stool i´ve designed has the purpose of providing ordinary sensations, since the moment of assembly till the use. It´s Ready To Assemble system makes the construction easier and even enjoyable. It also has a little handle to grab it with the fingers and move it around. This is a very rational stool and its beauty lies in how ordinary it is, so it can fit seamlessly any atmosphere.
The usage is very rational, it consists of only 3 wood pieces and it´s construction complements (studs, screws, etc), it assemblies as an X and the drilling that it has on the seat invites you grab it so that you can move it
