This piece was created as a commission of sorts. Jordan Peterson asked for a sample of an illustration that would look like a kind of modern day tarot card, based of the Fool card. The original Fool card is from the Waite tarot deck (see example below), which was my inspiration.
I always dreamed of making a New Yorker cover, I thought this image would look great and appropriate given our current circumstances. So here is my fantasy cover design.
