Attract alumni to GSB’s Alumni Weekend following a year of record attendance for the school’s unveiling of its new Hyde Park Center.
Solution
With the theme, “The World is Coming to Chicago,” invitations and other collateral highlight the event’s main draws: a gala at Chicago’s then-newly opened Millennium Park, an international group of Distinguished Alumni Award winners (including the first lady of the Ukraine), and the city of Chicago itself, promoted as a world-class destination. A save-the-date card in the shape of a passport, an invitation designed as a plane ticket, and travel imagery and icons throughout help to create a buzz and a visual identity for the event.
