I wanted to show the potential the fabric had to become something spectacular. It was important for me to show movement in the material so that my idea of this having potential energy could be conveyed correctly. The model I chose, I made sure could help me bring out the best in the fabrics. 

I had high hopes for this project and I was quite pleased with the outcome. I really love how the fabric is captured and how in the wind it looks like an extensions of the model’s body. I think i was successful in making sure the materials were the hero of the photograph. Shooting on location was tricky just because I had never been to these sand dunes before and so I learnt that I should definitely explore it first before I commit the shoot to any specific place.
