ABOUT
TUUB is a travel vehicle designed to give a unique perspective on how we live in the future. The aim is to provide the experiences of “Off-grid” living along side the comfort and convenience of a modern lifestyle within an autonomous micro-space.
The idea for the vehicle was heavily influenced by micro and off-grid architecture, more specifically from an awesome book called “Off the grid: Houses for Escape”. It got me thinking about how the boundaries between transportation and architecture could be merged to accommodate a lifestyle where we can travel and live in cool places, modestly and sustainably. In terms of design, it was approached a stationary object - offering a raised, protective interior with the use of glass to feel connected to the environment at the same time. Hope you like it :)
3D package to determine a preliminary layout and architecture for the vehicle. The goal was to create a harmonious interior/ exterior from the ideation stage with the user needs in mind.
The final direction was to balance interior and exterior elements together, overlapping the two harmoniously through use of structural glass.

Hidden caterpillar tracks are what allows the vehicle to relocate and travel to its Off-grid destinations.
