Tattoo-style illustration
I enjoy creating work that is exceptionally elaborate and detailed. I've made something here that was initially intended to be viewed mostly in a digital space but it ended up being so detailed that the best way to fully appreciate it is by viewing it in a large printed format. In fact it may lose definable detail when viewed too small or viewed on screens with lower - standard
pixel density. I started off wanting to illustrate a gorgon from Greek mythology but while I was busy with the flowing hair I was inspired by the biblical character Eve, the first woman, which influenced the way I proceeded with the rest of the illustration.
