The Suburban Woman

The concept behind this design is that whether or not it is acknowledged, everybody has a story to tell. The majority of people who meet you for the first time have already developed a general idea about you, strictly based on appearance. They already categorized you and have developed an idea of who you are and how you should act in their eyes. However, the person usually turns up to being somebody completely different from what is expected of them. It is important not to judge others before truly getting to know them, because their story might change how you view them.

Having been practicing portrait photography for quite awhile now, what I find the most captivating about the face is the eyes. Something about the eyes have this quality of mystery, depth, and narrative about them. The funny thing is that even though I find people's eyes to be so mesmerizing, I usually can't maintain eye contact for more than a few seconds (especially lighter eyes). Perhaps it is because in a way I feel invasive when staring at people's eyes for a long time as if I am trying to uncover something.
I guess it is a mystery to be left unsolved.
