PROJECT WITH MUSEUM OF FOSSIL - Meride, Tessin

Their request was to create a promotion for their museum through the use of augmented reality (AR). Two F4 posters were made, one on fossils concerning flora and one on mollusc fossils, the two areas in the museum. The graphic style of the two posters recalls the study tables that were used in the twentieth century by paleontologys.
Subsequently, the “AR Fossils” application was designed. Once the poster is framed, click on the drawing of the fossil we are interested in and it will appear in three versions:
1 - the representation of the fossil in life
2 - a three-dimensional reconstruction of the stone where the fossil was found
3 - back to the illustration of the study table
The goal of the project was to create a contrast between past and present, between paper and technology, following a historical timeline.
