Work I did a while back for a contest at TalentHouse.
"Didn't know the artist, but since I've heard about this project that I listened to a bunch of her songs and I felt in love! I thought the song The Beast quite sexual in a certain way, I drew while listening to it and the shape of a woman and a "beast" would always come up in the pages.
The huge dark creature represents the "beast" whom the artist (Laura Marling) sings about, it represents the dark and twisted. So the feminine figure should represent the purity and light, but, that light is corrupt, because it was touched by the darkeness."
