Following the work proposal “Design of an Office Kit/Set” the SKYLINE piece was created. Simple, elegant and with great functionality.
Unique component with five functions.
Inspired by the way buildings cut the horizon, SKYLINE is a simplification and of an urban panorama. The urban panorama of a city is a kind of finger print of them, because there is no equal, characteristic in common with the SKYLINE piece, representing uniqueness. This is special in the way it represents a continuous line that creates its appearance. With right angles. Built and designed for a target audience with a simple but refined taste, for a home office or work desk context.
It is designed to be built in aluminum.
Initially it is represented as a smooth and flat sheet, then it is cut todesired thickness, internal cuts are made and only after these steps we proceed tobend the aluminum. Finally, it is anodized.
Five functions. A place to wrap and storethe earphones / earphones, a document holder, a pen containerwith 7 holes, a base to place the smartphone vertically or horizontally and asupport for tape.It is lightweight and extremely easy to transport or store.
