Album Cover: Bon Iver
Requirements: Create a 12.375 in. x 12.375 in album cover. Using sourced imagery, and a compound color scheme create a visually interesting design that highlights the alum title

After choosing this image, there was extensive work that had to be done before It could become the album cover above, with the combined use of the healing brush, clone stamp, and spot healing tool I was able to remove background construction happening in the photo as well as people and furniture scattered throughout to give the look of the vast empty field. After that had been done I radially blurred the photo using the building as the focal point and mellowed the colors leaving only the subtle hint of color in the sky to match the feel of the music in this album.

Series of Book Covers: Liane Moriarty
Project requirements: Design a series of 3 book covers, each using a monochromatic color scheme including illustrations created in illustrator and establishing a sense a unity across all the covers

These covers all feature a somewhat nondescript object that will eventually establish itself as an important part of the story. The illustrations were done in illustrator and the use of the align panel was key in keeping the symmetry and uniformity across the various shapes.
Poster: Summer Party
Requirements: Create a poster in illustrator using 3 hues, and 3 values of each hue

This poster was made with a summer "cotton candy sky" in mind. I used a brush to make the cloud like shapes separating the blocks of color, and utilized a triadic color scheme to help the text stand out against the background.
Ad Campaign: Essie
Project requirements: Create an ad campaign for any company including one Instagram ad, one Facebook ad, and four banner ads, all most comply with the platform's dimension requirements.

While heading into what will probably be the strangest summer of many of our lives, what is something we can do to get into the feel of the season? Paint our nails to match our favorite summer cocktail (that we will probably all be drinking in our living rooms) This ad campaign uses bright colors and summer imagery to bring out the feel of the new collection while keeping with Essie's signature dripping polish ad style. Various images are repeated throughout all of the ads, used and masked in different ways to keep unity throughout the group without each ad becoming too repetitive.
Poster: Jamesport Brewery
Requirements:  In Illustrator, design a 24x36 typographic poster to advertise any event, where text is the main visual element

All of the shapes in this poster were created in illustrator, I kept it simple and straightforward so before even reading it you know what kind of even is being advertised. The split complementary color scheme helps the text to pop, and the colors chosen give the summer feel that this event is all about
Print Labels: Red Gate Ranch
Project requirements: Design labels for print to be used for this farm's wine and maple syrup production Design should include horses in some way and provide basic information about the product.

For these labels I wanted something modern and fresh looking while still holding onto the rustic and traditional feeling of the farm itself. As the labels can not be very large, this had to be done with few colors, and a relatively simple design, featuring the farm's name sake red gate and three horses representing the horses on the property.
