Aguardiente Cortero - Industria de Licores del Valle
Branding proposal for a new RTD.
Industria de Licores del Valle is a governmental, commercial company specialised in production and commercialisation of alcoholic and liqueur products. It was founded in 1921, and its most representative products are cane based.
In 2017, the company was looking to release a new line of Ready to Drink products, cane-based. For this project, I was in charge of researching other RTD products in the market and creating a brand concept, Logo and Package for the new line.
"Aguardiente Cortero" recall the people as the base of the product and its traditional harvest process where, in the first years of the industry, these people were in charge to cut and collect the cane from the fields, to then produce some of the most traditional liqueurs in the country. These people were called "Corteros".
