Children beg in order to support themselves and their dying parent/s (from HIV/Aids). The parents are no longer able to do this.
This is me busy working on this drawing in studio (September 2011), my view of the Urban Mundane. I chose the HIV/Aids field. My approach to this was a question I usually ask myself: "Why do beggers beg? And why are they mostly children?". Although there are a million answers to this question, I chose one: HIV/Aids.
