I spent the semester exploring gesture, tone and perspective in that order. My first project, which lasted for the first five-weeks, was to create my cosmology inspired by an object I constructed by repetition to create spatial depth. I was introduced to linear and tonal perspective to create this world and trascend my object. While the first project was to train patience, erasure and recomposition, our final project, which I carried out in the remaining seven weeks, was focused on rapidity and quantity in creating a series of drawings with composition as a key component.
