A kitchen step stool and bread board set, handmade and homemade in the USA. Development of this product began with looking at current step stools on the market and dreaming about stepping on a loaf of bread. The design process was driven by exploration of how familiarity and materiality can contribute to the relationship one fosters with a furniture piece. Naturally, the chemistry between the two ingredients led to the flourishing of a quirky yet elegant heirloom that will never grow moldy.
