I Don’t Understand (2020)
I Don’t Understand is about a movie called, Rashomon, a psychological thriller film directed by Akira Kurosawa. The woodcutter, one of the main characters in Rashomon, struggles to figure out and understand his true soul. From the film, I extracted one of the popular quotes by the woodcutter: "I don't understand. I just don't understand. I don't understand it at all. I just don't understand." The woodcutter’s quotes became my main inspiration in creating this series of posters.
