DOVETAIL MID-CENTURY FURNISHINGS

The fourth and final phase of the project focuses on managing assets while creating Dovetail's brand identity. Dovetail's mission is to provide craftsmanship and connection to the local community, using linear, geometric, and friendly identity attributes to embody the companies essence.
Dovetail was built for people from all walks of life, but the target audience is local carpenters, moms, and recent college graduates. Carpenters can partner and sell their furniture to Dovetail, mom's need furniture for their families, and recent college graduates are furnishing their first homes.
LINEAR  -  GEOMETRIC  -  FRIENDLY
Dovetail's assets were created with it's three main attributes in mind. The shapes are simplistic and geometric, the color palette is warm and friendly, and the heavy use of lines makes it linear.

The business card, stationery, and envelope all incorporate the three identity attributes with friendly colors, linear pattern, and geometric color blocks.

The simplistic sign at our storefront, with our brandmark and subtitle. Our store is located in a historic building from the early 1900’s, in North Lawrence, KS.

A magazine ad emphasizing our tagline, built for you, to entice readers into the store. Designed with simple color blocks and crisp imagery of Dovetail furniture.

Our mobile app reflects the airy, color block design that represents Dovetail. All of our website information including store contact, shopping, and an application process to sell furniture to Dovetail is included in the app.

Our website is simple, airy, and focused on large imagery of the furnitue that can be found within the store. The site contains business inofmration, shopping, events, and an application to sell furniture.
