NIÑO x CAMINO: Collective Exhibition
We designed a medium scale (30 centimeters) of an iconic figure in Mexico and made it in white ceramic.

This exhibition gathered 50 multidisciplinary artists who were given a ceramic figure that resembles a very traditional religious icon in Mexico. "El Niño Dios" is a very small figure that is normally found inside a typical pastry that is eaten every 6th of January. The tradition says that if you get the boy in you piece of pastry, it's your duty to take care of it, dress it and then offer a meal for you loved ones on the 2nd of February to honor the "Niño Dios" and to show it (already dressed up) to your community.

So on the 6th of January 2015 we handed big scale ceramic "Niños Dios" of 30 cms. to different artists so they would have to "dress" (intervene) them with any technique they wanted, and the exhibition took place on the 2nd of February as the traditional "meal offering" and presentation of the dressed Niño Dios would normally take place.
