Showy and overdone isn’t the approach here, but sticking to the least amount in design. Another noticeable thing is the use of gradients replacing the solid pearl white of the moon at night. But its just the right element needed to add the benefit on a shadowy dull background as it would have been difficult to identify other elements in the artwork.
