Ivica and Marica (Gretel and Hansel) is the story of two children who, in search of food, came across a little house made of sweets and cakes in the woods. Unfortunately, it was a witch trap, from which they eventually escaped and killed the witch herself. The idea was to portray the house itself, as the main element of the story, through a pastel technique reminiscent of a children's drawing. The house is linked to the title of the play, thus integrating the poster as a whole, and the background depicting darkness is enriched with stars to emphasize the atmosphere of the story.
Ružno pače (The Ugly Duckling) is the story of a little swan who accidentally hatched in a duck's nest. When everyone noticed that he was different, they started rejecting him and mocking him. The mother of the duckling loved him anyway. One day, an ugly duckling grew into a beautiful swan, thus giving back a blow to all those who rejected it. The idea was to portray a white swan as breaking through a shell of dark color, which represents that evil side of society. Also through a pastel technique reminiscent of a child’s drawing. The title of the play and the character of the swan form a complete composition with their interconnected forms.
Vuk i sedam kozlića (The Wolf and the Seven Goats) is the story of innocent and resourceful goats. The mother had to leave them briefly alone in the house, and the situation is exploited by the wolf. Thinking he's their mom, they release the wolf into the house. He fraudulently catches them and eats all but one. That one little goat later helps his mom find and release the other goats from the wolf's belly, who eventually dies. The idea was to portray the wolf as the main character and villain of the story. Also like the other two posters, through a pastel technique reminiscent of a child’s drawing. With his sharp teeth, the wolf is linked to the title of the play, thus completing the visual story in its dynamic composition.
