Pacific Concourse Branding and Environmental Graphics

Large-scale environmental graphics created by my team and I at ESI Design. The client wanted a way to differentiate the two white buildings they owned from an identical third white building next to them without extensive construction on the facade. The design was inspired by the southern California Light and Space movement, using colorful optical illusions to create unexpected geometry on the facade of the buildings.

The left image is what the buildings looked like before the supergraphics, and the right image shows what they look like now.
Since the client owned two buildings, I designed the identity to work as a standalone brand for each individual building as well as together as a group, as seen below.
