Estuary is a cafe and co-working space located in Monjali, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Because ‘Estuary’ itself defined as the tidal mouth of a large river, this building was designed to be a place where creativity and innovation meet.
As the architect of the building, I was also assigned to design Estuary’s brand, starts from the logo, typography, color palette and marketing needs such as name cards and menu design. Because the market of this cafe is young people from middle to upper class, I wanted to make an elegant, dynamic but still approachable design that reflects the purpose of the building: to create and trigger creative activities and mind.
