Our production of Little Women was done in a thrust stage format, so we had to find ways to make our performers visible from all sides of the stage. Because of that, we really focused on minimizing the set and furniture pieces by playing with silhouettes. Another aspect that we wanted to incorporate was the many stories written by Jo March. All of the paper used on this set were pages from old copies of the book, Little Women, and they can be seen bursting from Jo's writing desk.
