Popular Science is a well-known publication which has been sharing science and technology content with readers for over 147 years. For this project I analyzed the Fall 2019 issue Out There, wrote a report, and created a hand-bound booklet to present my findings. I discussed each piece that makes up this issue and the magazine brand as a whole—including their demographic statistics, content breakdown, typographic systems, visual styles, grid systems, color palette, and individual article design.
