Overall Idea.
Red envelopes are gifts presented at social and family gatherings at Chinese New Year. The envelope symbolises good luck and is a symbol to ward off evil spirits. In Vietnam, red envelopes are considered to be lucky money and are typically given to children. They are generally given by the elders and adults, where a greeting or offering health and longevity is exchanged by the younger generation.
Concept.
The concept of design is to express that the Red Packet are for everyone at any ages. Not just young children, adults and elders also can receive the pocket as well. As the pocket representing good luck and everyone want to start their year with a blessing wishes and with a pocket full of luck to make the start of year full fill of happiness and cheer-fully.
Color Themes
Yellow and Green colors are inspired by the "Bánh Trưng" colors which one of the items that symbolize Lunar New Year in Vietnam. Dark green represents greed, ambition, and wealth. While Yellow is the color of sunshine, hope, and happiness.
