The lock down has hit everyone in different ways. It hit us just as a couple of projects were coming to a close and as we wait patiently for the next job to arrive we started looking for ways to keep our minds active.

With all conversations firmly fixated on Covid-19 it felt natural for us to reflect on our own thoughts and experiences on the topic along with a chance to learn some new styles and techniques.

The result is Isolated Incident. An RnD project spanning the different styles and interests of the studio.

There's no strict theme to the work and knowing how we can all get lost agonising over the details, we focussed on getting the ideas out of our heads and in to a render quickly. It's all about our individual feelings on the subject so is not intended to be a cohesive piece of work but we hope there are recognisable topics and themes that resonate for you in some way. With that in mind, we've omitted any captions in the hope you'll find your own meaning.

Above all it's a blog of playful imagery and animation. We'll be adding and updating this page until the next project kicks off (!) so we hope you enjoy it!
