Puppetry- In the field of psychology it is imperative for therapist to find creative ways in understanding their clients, particularly children. Children who grow with the treat of harm or the absence of care cannot develop the ability to imagine things. During a therapy session a therapist must remain vigilant and observe for signs rather than symptoms. Puppets are used to voice stories that the clients are unable to articulate. Puppets can be used as mirrors for the client and a mean to stimulate their imagination. Clients are able to observe and come to a conclusion to change, learn anger management, how to express their feelings and give others positive responses, warmth and acceptance.
